AXON Wiegand reader interface RAS single door controller (ATS1170)

Description

The ATS1170 is a Single Door Controller designed to integrate seamlessly with Wiegand readers for access control applications. The unit is polled as a RAS (Remote Arming Station) on the RS485 data bus and must be programmed as a Non-LCD RAS within the system.

For special applications, the ATS1170 can function in a limited offline mode when powered by an external 12V DC supply, supporting a local database of up to 20 users. This allows it to be used as a standalone door controller if required.

The ATS1170 includes a Request to Exit (RTE) input and an onboard relay for electrical door locks, making it a versatile and cost-effective solution for single-door access control.

Key Features:
- Single Door Controller with an offline database for up to 20 users
- RS485 data bus connectivity, polled as a RAS (Non-LCD)
- Wiegand reader support for seamless integration
- Standalone operation capability with an external 12V DC power supply
- Built-in Request to Exit (RTE) input for user convenience
- Onboard relay for controlling electrical door locks
- Auxiliary power output: 5V, 100mA max (suitable for powering connected readers)
- Supports multiple formats, including Wiegand 26-bit and MagSwipe
